I decided not send my child here for the simple reason being that I had a very unpleasant experience with the business manager Shelley Axtell and when it was looked into she decided to lie about what she had said. If she had been honest about it and either admitted she made a mistake and apologised or stood by her words and actions on that day, although I would still be upset about it, I would have no complaint to make. I have worked with women like her in the past and it really is awful, everybody knows they are a beast but they are silenced into submission. I sympathise with her colleagues. I just don't think somebody in a position of trust should be lying to get out of perceived trouble. It's a very bad example to set to children and I wouldn't want my children learning this was how you should behave nor would I want them spoken to in the awful way she addresses people......and then there's the safeguarding reasons why she should be honest when working in a school but I shouldn't have to go into them.
school is fine,but some teachers need to be less strict, also some facilities dont work because its either broken or messed up, need to buy more working computers! but overall a decent school
During my GCSEs I had 9 different Physics teachers. That's not on.
Great high school with good facilities and outdoor specs plus leisure centre
i like the school, i just joined year 7 and most of the teachers are relay nice but there are a couple of teachers that are really strict and make you not like their lessons
